We are a couple of Apple fanboys on opposite ends of the same spectrum.
Early Adopter ----- Rational Consumer
LG is very active in the buy-and-sell business. Buy high and sell low, that is. He does not quite comprehend the concept of early adoption fees. As a result, he's owned a slew of Apple products from the original iPhone to the iPad, even before their launch in Singapore, only to sell most of them to fund future purchases. His first Mac was the B&W PowerMac G3 (Yosemite) in 1998.
CY follows all Apple drama closely but from a distance, dissecting every Apple rumor, newsbite and press conference bit by bit. He acquires what he needs when he needs it and started off his Apple journey with the Indigo iMac G3 in 2001. Usually cautious about what he buys, he waits to read as much as he can before taking the plunge on any product such as the original iPod and iPhone 3G.
